Safety Education

For an exciting safety presentation, our full-scale, high-voltage model can't be beat.

The presentation is narrated by Robert McClintock, URE's Safety and Loss Control Coordinator, and demonstrated by URE line technicians. With "hot" lines and fun props, the team teaches the dos and don'ts of power lines.

This presentation can be geared to any audience--from elementary school to professional first responders.

For intermediate- and middle-school groups, a companion course of study, "Get Charged!", teaches the science of electricity. These multimedia learning materials are provided through a partnership between Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and Discovery Channel.
